Where everything is, and how to reach a human
During the week the box office on the quay answers faster than email. The rest of the year, email is the only thing that is read every day.

Access requirements, a name change on a ticket, a lost band, a press pass or a stall: all of it comes here and all of it is answered.
Tell us your ticket reference if you have one, and the date you are asking about. Answers take two working days out of season and under an hour during the week itself.

The four venues
Twelve minutes end to end, along the front
Everything sits on one line between the quay and the Green. The plan below is the only map you need; the streets between are flat, lit until two, and stewarded from six in the evening.

Measured at a normal pace, in the rain, by somebody who does it four times a night.

The Saltings to the Assembly Rooms
Left out of the quay doors and along the sea wall. The only stretch with no shelter: if it is blowing, cut up Fish Lane instead and it is six minutes.

Assembly Rooms to the Old Bathhouse
Through the market square, past the closed bank, then down Bath Steps. Step-free alternative by Crown Street, which adds three minutes.

Inland from the Assembly Rooms up Church Walk. This is the Sunday, and the only day the Green is used.

Getting to Brindmouth
By train, bus, car and boat
Train
Is there a station?
Brindmouth station is eight minutes' walk from the quay, uphill on the way back. Trains run hourly, and the last one out is 23:10 every night of the week, which is before most headline sets finish. Plan to stay.
What if I miss the last train?
A night bus leaves the quay at 01:40 for the city and takes ninety minutes. It is 00 and takes cash. Taxis exist but there are eleven of them in the whole town.
Car
Can I park?
Not on the front from Tuesday: it is pedestrianised from 18:00 daily and all day Sunday. The long stay behind the station is 00 a day and holds four hundred cars. It fills by six on the Saturday.
Is there parking at the campsite?
One car per pitch, included, and you will not need it again until you leave.
Bus
Is there a bus from the city?
The number 12, every two hours, two hours and ten minutes, and it drops you on the quay rather than at the station. It is the cheapest way in.
Boat
What about the ferry?
The Nare Island ferry runs from the far end of the quay, four times a day in summer. It is a good afternoon out and nothing to do with Salt Week, so check their timetable rather than ours.
Camping
Can I bring a camper van?
Hollow Field takes thirty vans on hardstanding, booked with the wristband, not on the gate. There is no overnight parking anywhere else in Brindmouth and it is enforced.
Is there anywhere to stay in town?
Two pubs with rooms, a guest house on Crown Street and a campsite. All of them are booked by February. The city is forty minutes by train and has everything.
